FAQs for Retail Pharmacy Compounding Referrals

Do you have any information that my pharmacy can give to the patient concerning CPS and the fulfillment of their compound prescription?

Yes. This is accessible on the referral form. You will see this highlighted in red on the right hand side of your screen.

How will Corporate Pharmacy Services (CPS) identify my pharmacy for payment and tracking purposes?

CPS will use your NABP number as your pharmacy identifier. Each pharmacy specific NABP number will be the login for our tracking system and will allow you to check the status of your eligible prescriptions.

Will I be able to view the status of the eligible prescription my pharmacy referred?

Yes. Once your pharmacy has created a username and password in the CPS Track you will be able to check on the exact status of your eligible prescription.

How do I get a username and password to access the CPS Track?

Once the referral form has been submitted successfully your liaison will receive an email with login credentials to access the site. *Please note this may take up to 48 business hours.

What happens when my eligible prescription is denied?

CPS will update the CPS Track and a phone call will be made to the contact liaison at your pharmacy. The contact liaison is determined at the time the script is referred to CPS.

When should I expect payment for my prescription referral?

Once payment has been remitted from carrier to CPS a check will be issued by the 15th of the following month that payment has been received.

Does CPS fill group health compounds (ex: BCBS, Caremark, Express Scripts, etc.)?

CPS only specializes in the fulfillment of workers’ compensation scripts at this time.

Will CPS transfer any of my other workers’ compensation prescriptions as well?

No. CPS will only seek to transfer compound medications.

Does CPS pay transfer fees on federal prescriptions?

No. For compliance reasons we do not pay transfer fees on US government funded programs.

How do I upload a script? 

  • Scan a copy of prescription and demographics if available.
  • Save image to documents.
  • Select “Browse” and select the saved image.
  • Select “Upload”.

What if I do not know the needed information for any of the required fields?
